On 20 August 2026, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) published an application from Squadron Energy Retail Pty Ltd (Squadron Energy Retail) for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
The AER is now seeking submissions from interested stakeholders on Squadron Energy Retail’s application by Friday 18 September 2026.
