On 31 October 2018, Energy Queensland submitted the Annual Ring-fencing compliance report and independent assessment for Energex and Ergon Energy. These submissions are required by the AER's Electricity Distribution Ring-fencing Guideline.
The AER has considered this report in preparing our Annual Ring-fencing Compliance Report - 2017-18 which assesses compliance with the Guideline by all the relevant distributors.
