On 17 September 2025, the Legislative Council Economy and Infrastructure Committee issued a request for submissions to its inquiry into how Victoria can best harmonise electric vehicles (EVs) with electricity supply and demand.
The AER made a submission to the inquiry on 2 December 2025.
