Overview
On 29 June 2012, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved an application from Blue NRG Pty Ltd (Blue NRG) for electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law. Blue NRG is authorised to retail electricity as and when the National Energy Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
Blue NRG seeks to retail electricity to small to medium business customers. It was granted an electricity retail licence by the Essential Services Commission of Victoria in March 2012.
