Overview

The Registrant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R4 class exemption.

Applicable conditions for class exemptions

The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme
