The revised draft follows our consultation paper from 22 March 2024 and our switch to the standard rules consultation procedure. Submissions close on 3 July 2024.

The pilot questionnaires were used to survey a small sample of residential and business customers in March and April 2024.

The direct cost questionnaire was used in 2019 to survey large load customers with a peak demand of more than 10 megavolt-amperes.

The priorities guide our enforcement work and proactive compliance efforts including by highlighting the areas of most risk and harm in the markets we regulate.

On 14 June 2024, the AER accepted a court enforceable undertaking offered by Icon Distribution Investments Limited and Jemena Networks (ACT) Pty Ltd (together trading as Evoenergy), with Evoenergy committing to, amongst other things, redesign systems and separate assets so that maintenance, operation and inspection services may be provided by another business and it may cease to provide the services.
