On 28 March 2025, ElectraNet submitted its early works contingent project application to us, seeking an increase to its revenue in accordance with clause 6A.8.2 of the National Electricity Rules (NER) to fund early works associated with the delivery of the Mid North South Australia REZ Expansion stage 1 contingent project.

We are required to make a determination on this contingent project application under clause 6A.8.2 of the NER.

We invited submissions on ElectraNet’s Mid North South Australia REZ Expansion stage 1a contingent project application. Submissions closed on 2 May 2025.
