On 6 December 2024, Essential Energy submitted its contingent project application to us seeking an increase to its revenue to fund its bushfire risk reclassification contingent project in accordance with clause 6.6A.2 of the NER

We are required to make a determination on this contingent project application under clause 6.6A.2 of the NER.

We invited energy consumers and other interested parties to make submissions on Essential Energy’s contingent project application by 15 January 2024. We received no submissions.
