Application

On 30 June 2026, Ausgrid submitted a cost pass through application seeking to recover costs it expects to incur as a result of the varied licence conditions implementing the NSW Emergency Backstop Mechanism. 

Ausgrid is proposing to recover incremental revenue of approximately $30.5 million ($nominal) in the last two years of the current regulatory period as follows:

• $15.4 million ($nominal) in 2027-28
• $15.1 million ($nominal) in 2028-29.
