On 30 September 2025, Powerlink submitted a cost pass through application seeking to recover the costs it had incurred as a result of the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SoCI Act) reforms.

This regulatory change event required for Powerlink to undertake physical security uplift activities and related changes to comply with those obligations.
