On 28 February 2025, TasNetworks submitted a cost pass through application seeking to recover the costs it has incurred as a result of the August-September 2024 storm in Tasmania. TasNetworks is proposing an increased revenue allowance of $4.6 million ($nominal, smoothed) to be recovered over the final three years of the current regulatory period (2024-29) as follows: $1.2 million in 2026-27; $1.9 million in 2027-28; and $1.5 million in 2028–29.
