On 21 April 2026, AusNet Services submitted to the AER an annual tariff variation for its Victorian gas distribution network for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.

The tariff variation notice sets out AusNet Services' proposed reference tariffs and demonstrates how they comply with the annual tariff variation mechanism under AusNet Services’ access arrangement. The reference tariff schedule sets out the specific rates that will apply to AusNet Services’ reference services from 1 July 2026.

We will assess AusNet Services’ tariff variation notice for compliance with our final decision on the 2023–28 access arrangement. AusNet Services provided other documentation to support its proposal that will be used in our compliance assessment.
