Access arrangement 2026-31
APTNT owns and operates the Amadeus transmission gas pipeline in the Northern Territory. The National Gas Law (NGL) and National Gas Rules (NGR) provide the regulatory framework governing gas pipelines. As with other covered pipelines, we regulate APTNT's reference tariffs - and through this its revenue - under an approved access arrangement.
Draft decision
On 28 November 2025, we published our draft decision for the Amadeus Gas Pipeline 2026−31 access arrangement proposal.
Interested stakeholders are invited to make a submission on both our draft decision and APTNT’s revised proposal (due 14 January 2026). Submissions will close on Friday, 13 February 2026 and can be emailed to aergasresets2026-31
aer [dot] gov [dot] au (aergasresets2026-31[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au).
An online public forum was scheduled for Monday 8 December 2025 for our 2026-31 gas access arrangement draft decisions on Evoenergy, AGN (SA) and Amadeus.
Given limited stakeholder interest, this public forum did not proceed as originally indicated.
We remain committed to engaging with stakeholders and encourage stakeholders who are interesting in discussing our draft decisions, or wish to provide feedback via alternative methods to reach out to Reset Coordination team on aergasresets2026-31
