On 2 October 2026, the Australian Energy Regulator published an application from Eastern Electric Pty Ltd (Eastern Electric) for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
We are now seeking submissions from interested stakeholders on Eastern Electric's application. Submissions are due by Friday, 30 October 2026.
