The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Network Exemptions Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions.

Network conversion (creation of an embedded network at a site with existing energy consumers)
On 18 July 2025, the AER issued CEP Energy Pty Ltd / ABN 21 632 035 575, Energy Intelligence Pty Ltd / ABN 48 132 080 552, and The Trustee for Pelligra Constructions Family Trust / ABN 85 530 175 231 a Notice of Acceptance permitting the entities to register network exemptions for this site.
The registrants of this exemption must comply with the network conversion conditions set out in the Network Exemptions Guideline, in addition to the core conditions for the registered exemption classes.
