The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Network Exemptions Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions.

Network conversion (creation of an embedded network at a site with existing energy consumers)
On 5 November, the AER issued The Trustee for Energy Bay Oscar Fund / ABN 86 236 720 454 a Notice of Acceptance permitting it to register network exemptions for this site.
The registrants of this exemption must comply with the network conversion conditions set out in the Network Exemptions Guideline, in addition to the core conditions for the registered exemption classes.

The registrant nominated an effective date of 12 November 2025.
