In response to the ACCC's invitation, the National Generators Forum asked that a public forum on the ACCC's Draft service standards guidelines (28 May 2003) be held. The ACCC held the public forum on 15 July 2003 in Canberra.

The forum discussed various issues to help the ACCC develop its position on setting service standards in its revenue cap decisions. All interested parties were invited to attend and/or present their views to the forum.
