On 8 November 2017 the AER released its discussion paper on profitability measures for electricity and gas network businesses. The discussion paper explores potential profitability measures and the data the AER would be required to collect, as part of our annual regulatory reporting processes, to calculate these measures.
The Discussion Paper is informed by the McGrathNicol scoping study into measures of profitability for electricity and gas businesses.
We invited interested parties to make submissions on our Discussion Paper. Submissions closed on 8 December 2017.
