On 4 August 2025, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved an gas authorisation application from Agora Retail Pty Limited (Agora Retail) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Agora Retail is now authorised to retail gas as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed 20 May 2025. No submissions were received.
