On 15 September 2015, AusNet Services lodged an application for a pass through of reduced taxation costs arising a favourable tax ruling in respect of their participation in the Victorian Government's Powerline Replacement Fund program.
On 15 October 2015, the AER approved the pass through of $6.28 m ($nominal) in 2016. This money will be returned to customers by a reduction of prices paid in 2016.
