Draft decision

On 14 October 2002 the ACCC released its draft revenue cap decision for SPI PowerNet and VENCorp. The ACCC's draft revenue cap decision draws on VENCorp's and SPI PowerNet's revenue cap applications, consultancy reports on the asset base, capital expenditure, operations and maintenance expenditure, submissions from interested parties, other information presented to the ACCC during the course of its deliberations and the ACCC's own analysis.

On 1 November 2002 the ACCC released a supplementary draft decision in relation to the service standards component of the SPI PowerNet revenue cap.

Stakeholder forum

SPI PowerNet notified the ACCC that it wished the ACCC to convene a public forum in relation to the draft decision regarding the Victorian transmission network revenue cap.

The ACCC held this public forum on 14 November 2002.  ACCC staff kept brief minutes of this forum. The minutes are not verbatim but an indication of what issues were canvassed by the interested parties on the day.
