On 3 September 2019, the AER approved an electricity retailer authorization application from Hanwha Energy Retail Australia Pty Ltd (Hanwha ERA) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). Hanwha ERA is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
