On 10 December 2020, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Origin Energy Electricity Limited (OEEL) for a gas retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).

Invitations for submissions on the application closed on Thursday 14 January 2021. No submissions were received.
