The AER published its final decision to update the interim Contracts and Firmness Guidelines (C&F Guidelines) on 20 August 2025. The final decision includes an updated version of the interim C&F Guidelines, a document that tracks all changes made to the previous version during this consultation and an Explanatory Statement that outlines the issues raised in the submissions on the draft decision.

The updated interim C&F Guidelines take effect upon their publication on 20 August 2025.

We note that the report template from the 9 June 2023 update to the interim C&F Guidelines was not updated as part of this consultation.
