On 17 October 2025, the AER accepted an application from Stockland Property Management Pty Ltd to cancel the individual exemption it was granted on 27 May 2016 for the sale of electricity at Stockland Shellharbour Shopping Centre. Stockland Property Management Pty Ltd requested the cancellation of the exemption on the grounds that it no longer owns or operates Stockland Shellharbour Shopping Centre and does not sell electricity at 211 Lake Entrance Road, Shellharbour NSW 2529.

Submissions
Following the process set out in section 10.1 of the AER Retail Exempt Selling Guideline, we are now seeking submissions from interested stakeholders on Stockland Property Management Pty Ltd’s application to cancel the exemption by 14 November 2025.

We will take into account submissions in deciding whether or not to cancel Stockland Property Management Pty Ltd’s exemption.
