On 26 August 2025, TasNetworks wrote to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) requesting a determination on its 2024–25 network support pass through application. TasNetworks’ network support pass through application is in relation to the difference between actual and forecast network support payments for 2024–25. The AER assessed the application in accordance with clause 6A.7.2(i) of the National Electricity Rules (NER).
On 21 November 2025, the AER published its assessment of TasNetworks' 2024–25 network support pass through application. The positive pass through amount is $836,318 ($Dec 2026).
