On 22 January 2026, we made our final decision on Transgrid’s revenue determination for the 2026–31 regulatory control period for the Enabling Central-West Orana REZ Network Infrastructure Project.

In accordance with clause 53(4) of the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Regulation 2021 (EII Regulation), publication of our determination document and accompanying information will occur as soon as reasonably practicable, following notification from the Infrastructure Planner (EnergyCo) that project financial close has been reached. 

On 10 April 2026, we received notification from EnergyCo that financial close for the CWO Enabling Project has been achieved. We have subsequently published the determination document and accompanying attachments on 14 April 2026. Confidential Appendix C – Rate of return averaging periods will not be published to protect confidentiality.
