Northern Territory Department of Mining and Energy – Submission on the SPP’s classification application

We invite all interested stakeholders to make a written submission on the draft decision by 5pm AEST on Monday 17 August 2026. Submissions to the draft decision will be crucial in informing our final decision. 

Submissions should be sent to AERGasReformaer [dot] gov [dot] au (AERGasReform[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au). 

We prefer that submissions are public and published on our website. This facilitates an informed, transparent and robust consultation process. However, we will accept confidential submissions in some circumstances. If you wish to make a confidential submission, we ask that you contact us before making the submission to discuss whether we can treat your submission, or portions of it, as confidential.
