The AER reviewed the 2013-14 Demand Management Incentive Scheme (DMIS) reports submitted by ActewAGL, Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy, Ergon Energy, Energex, SA Power Networks and TasNetworks. The AER has also reviewed the 2014 DMIS reports submitted by AusNet Services, CitiPower, Jemena Electricity Networks, Powercor and United Energy, and 2014-15 DMIS reports submitted by Ergon Energy, Energex and SA Power Networks.

The AER has approved the Demand Management Innovation Allowance (DMIA) expenditure claimed as the expenditure is consistent with the DMIA criteria.

The AER has also approved DMIA carryover amount adjustment for ActewAGL, Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Energex, Ergon Energy, Essential Energy, and SA Power Networks. Specially, if a distributor has not spent its DMIA allowance in a regulatory period, it will be required to return the amount of any underspend or unapproved amounts to customers in the form of tariff reduction in the following regulatory period.
