AEMC review of National Framework for Electricity Distribution Network Planning and Expansion
On 17 December 2008, the Ministerial Council of Energy (MCE) directed the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) to conduct a review into the current electricity distribution network planning and expansion arrangements in the National Electricity Market, and to propose recommendations to assist the establishment of a national framework for distribution network planning.
