On 23 December 2025, the AER published a determination under rule 5.16B of the National Electricity Rules.

The AER determined that, based on the grounds of the dispute raised by the Centre for Independent Studies, Transgrid will not be required to amend its Meeting system strength requirements in NSW Project Assessment Conclusions Report. The AER has made this determination based on our analysis of the grounds of the dispute raised by the CIS, as set out in Section 5 of the determination.
