On 31 March 2025, Jemena submitted a pricing proposal for its Victorian electricity distribution network for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
On 15 October 2024 Jemena applied to the AER to revoke and substitute its distribution determination for the 2021-26 regulatory control period, to adjust the total forecast capital expenditure approved in our April 2021 final decision. Due to the uncertainty of the timing of the AER's decision on this application, Jemena provided two scenarios in its pricing proposal - one with the application amounts included and one without. The scenario considered in our pricing proposal approval depended on whether a decision has been made on Jemena's application.
We will assess Jemena's pricing proposal for compliance with the NER and our 2021–26 regulatory determination. Jemena provided other documentation to support its proposal that will be used in our compliance assessment.
On 2 May 2025, Jemena withdrew its pricing proposal reflecting that a decision on its reopener application is yet to be made, and submitted a new proposal. This included changes to proposed prices.
