On 21 April 2026, Australian Gas Networks (Victoria and Albury) (AGN) submitted to the AER an annual tariff variation for its Victorian gas distribution network for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027.

On 8 May 2026, AGN resubmitted its reference tariff schedule in response to AER queries. This included changes to proposed tariffs, noting that the average customer charges set out in the initial proposal letter are outdated. Refer to the tariff schedule for the latest tariffs and the Statement of Reasons for the latest bill impacts.

The tariff variation notice sets out AGN proposed reference tariffs and demonstrates how they comply with the annual tariff variation mechanism under AGN access arrangement. The reference tariff schedule sets out the specific rates that will apply to AGN reference services from 1 July 2026.

We will assess AGN tariff variation notice for compliance with our final decision on the 2023–28 access arrangement. AGN provided other documentation to support its proposal that will be used in our compliance assessment.
