Indicative timetable

The AER received a reference service proposal from APA Group (APA) for the Victorian Transmission System (VTS) for the period 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2032. Under the NGL and the NGR, the AER has the function of reviewing and approving the terms of the proposal. Interested stakeholders are encouraged to consider the indicative dates for key milestones.

We invite energy consumers and other interested parties to make submissions on APA's Victorian Transmission System (VTS) Reference Service Proposal by Tuesday 23rd December 2025.

Submissions should be emailed to: aerinquireyataer [dot] gov [dot] au (aerinquirey[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au)

We prefer that all submissions be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultative process. We will treat submissions as public documents unless otherwise requested. All non-confidential submissions will be placed on the AER's website. For further information regarding the AER's use and disclosure of information provided to it, see the ACCC/AER Information Policy.

We request parties wishing to submit confidential information:

  • clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim
  • provide a non-confidential version of the submission in a form suitable for publication.
