On 31 January 2025, we received a regulatory proposal from Victorian electricity distributor AusNet Services for the period 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2031.
On 30 September 2025, we released our draft decision for AusNet Services. We held a pre-determination conference on our draft decision on 14 October 2025.
On 1 December 2025 AusNet Services submitted its revised proposal.

We invite energy consumers and other interested parties to make submissions on our Draft Decision and AusNet Services' Revised Proposal by Monday, 19 January 2026.
A regulated network business must periodically apply to us to determine the maximum allowed revenue it can recover from consumers for using its network. In assessing these proposals, it is our role to ensure that consumers pay no more than is necessary for an energy system that delivers safe, reliable, secure energy that contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
