The AER published Ergon Energy's regulatory proposal and supporting material along with the AER's proposed Negotiated Distribution Service Criteria.

Interested parties were invited to make written submissions to us regarding Ergon Energy's regulatory proposal and our proposed Negotiated Distribution Service Criteria. Submissions closed on 30 January 2015. Further information is available under the 'Submissions' heading below.

The AER held a public forum on 9 December 2014. Information on the forum is available at 'stakeholder forum'.

Also, we have not published all documents submitted by Ergon Energy due to the number. A list of documents that are available from us on request is located under Supporting information - further supporting information.

On 5 December 2014 the AER released an Issues paper on Energex and Ergon Energy's regulatory proposals. The paper sets out our initial impressions of the distributors' proposals, including what we think will be some of the key issues for our assessment. We hope this paper is helpful for readers to form their own views on the distributors' proposals. The issues paper signals the commencement of a comprehensive consultation process.

Under clause 6.7.4 of the NER, the AER's distribution determination for Ergon Energy must set out the Negotiated Distribution Service Criteria (NDSC). The NDSC determined by the AER must give effect to, and be consistent with, the negotiated distribution service principles set out in clause 6.7.1 of the NER.

On 9 December 2014, the AER held a public forum in Brisbane on the revenue proposals submitted by the Qld electricity distribution network service providers (DNSPs) including Energex and the proposed negotiated distribution service criteria published by the AER.

Submissions on the 2015-20 regulatory proposals of Queensland and South Australian electricity distribution network service providers (Energex, Ergon Energy and SA Power Networks) closed on 30 January 2015.

Submissions on an alternative mechanism for the recovery of the residual metering capital costs to be incoporated in the NSW/ACT final decisions and Qld/SA preliminary decisions closed on 27 March 2015.
