Draft decision

On 28 September 2023 we released our draft decision for Evoenergy's revenue determination for the 2024–29 period, commencing 1 July 2024. Evoenergy now has until 30 November 2023 to respond to the respective draft decisions in a revised proposal.

On 11 October 2023, we held the predetermination conference to discuss our draft decision for Evoenergy. The presentation slides are available here.

Evoenergy's proposal

On 31 January 2023 Evoenergy submitted its 2024–29 Regulatory proposal to the AER. The proposal sets out the revenue Evoenergy proposes to collect from its consumers through distribution network charges over the 2024–29 regulatory control period.

On 28 March 2023, the AER published an Issues Paper highlighting some of the key elements of Evoenergy's proposal.

A public forum for interested parties was held on 6 April 2023, we have published the joint presentation pack.

Submissions on Evoenergy's 2024–29 Regulatory proposal, our Issues Paper, and our proposed Negotiated distribution service criteria closed on 12 May 2023 and are now available on the website.

Evoenergy is an electricity distribution network service provider. Its next five year regulatory control period commences on 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2029 (2024–29).

Under the NER, Evoenergy is required to submit its regulatory proposal to us by 31 January 2023. However, prior to that date, the NER require us to review the current F&A paper that applies to Evoenergy and decide whether to amend or replace it.

In June 2022, Evoenergy submitted the methodology it proposes to use to prepare the forecasts of operating expenditure and capital expenditure that form part of its regulatory proposal and the AER, in July 2022, published the final framework for Evoenergy.
