Final Decision

On 30 April 2024, we published our final decision on the revenue that Power and Water Corporation can recover from its consumers in the 202429 regulatory control period.

Background

Power and Water Corporation is an electricity distribution network service provider. Its next five year regulatory control period commences on 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2029 (2024-29).

Under the NT NER, Power and Water Corporation is required to submit its regulatory proposal to us by 31 January 2023. However, prior to that date, the NT NER require us to review the current F&A paper that applies to Power and Water Corporation and decide whether to amend or replace it.

In June 2022, Power and Water Corporation submitted the methodology it proposes to use to prepare the forecasts of operating expenditure and capital expenditure that form part of its regulatory proposal and the AER, in July 2022, published the final framework for Power and Water Corporation.
