Overview

Discussion paper

Prior to the ACCC commencing regulation of the electricity transmission network in Queensland, Powerlink, the transmission network owner in Queensland, identified two issues to be addressed by the ACCC in its consultations. The first issue reflects the medium term uncertainty in the Queensland region of the NEM and its effect on proposed capital expenditure. The second issue addresses contracted services, an item that is not fully covered in the ACCC's Draft Statement of Principles for the Regulation of Transmission Networks.
