On 28 January 2021, Powerlink Queensland submitted its revenue proposal for the 2022–27 regulatory control period, from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2027.

On 24 March 2021, we published an issues paper to assist stakeholders in their consideration of Powerlink Queensland's 2022-27 proposal.

On 8 April 2021, the AER hosted an online public forum to allow stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions about Powerlink's 2022-27 transmission revenue proposal before submissions close on 24 May 2021. Presentations were delivered by the AER, the AER's Consumer Challenge Panel 23, Powerlink's Customer Panel, Energy Users Association of Australia and Powerlink. We invited interested stakeholders to make a submission on Powerlink Queensland's 2022-27 revenue proposal and our Issues Paper by 24 May 2021. We received four submissions.

On 9 July 2021, Powerlink requested the AER to not apply the Demand Management Innovation Allowance Mechanism (DMIAM) to its 2022-27 revenue determination.

On 23 August 2021, the AER received a stakeholder submission in response to Powerlink's request.
