On 31 January 2019, SA Power Networks submitted its regulatory proposal for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025.

On 28 March 2019, the AER published an issues paper on the 2020-25 regulatory proposal from SA Power Networks.

We invited written submissions on SA Power Networks' proposal and our issues paper. Submissions closed on 16 May 2019.

On 4 April 2019, the AER hosted a public forum on the 2020-25 proposal from SA Power Networks.

The Consumer Challenge Panel, subpanel 14, has provided advice to the AER in the lead-up to the submission of SA Power Networks' regulatory proposal. The first was in response to SA Power Networks' approach to the challenges of the high penetration of embedded generation, discussed as part of SA Power Networks' 2020-25 regulatory proposal early engagement. SA Power Networks' has also provided a written response to the Consumer Challenge Panel, subpanel 14 advice to the AER. 

The second advice is in response to SA Power Network's draft plan, which it published in the lead-up to the submission of its regulatory proposal.
