Draft determination

The AER has made its draft determinations on the regulatory proposals submitted by the Victorian electricity distributors, Citipower, Jemena, Powercor, SP AusNet and United Energy. The determinations cover the period 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2015 and set the revenues that the Victorian electricity distributors are able to recover for the provision of electricity distribution services. The Victorian electricity distributors have until 21 July 2010 to submit revised regulatory proposals to the AER.

Stakeholder forum - Pre-determination conference

The AER held a pre–determination conference in Melbourne on 17 June 2010 on its draft determinations for the Victorian electricity distributors.

The purpose of the pre–determination conference was to allow the AER to explain its draft determinations and to receive oral submissions from interested parties.

Interested parties were invited to comment on the AER’s draft determinations and/or ask questions at the pre–determination conference.

Submissions - further AER consultation on debt risk premium

On 27 September the AER issued a further consultation paper relating to the debt risk premium, in response to CBASpectrum’s ceasing publication of its fair value estimates and the decision of the Australian Competition Tribunal in the ActewAGL matter (ACT 1 of 2010) handed down on 17 September 2010.
