Overview

Consultation paper

On 18 July 2013, the AER released for comment the draft AER Stakeholder Engagement Framework.

Our Stakeholder Engagement Framework provides a structure that allows stakeholders’ needs and interests to be consistently, transparently and meaningfully considered in our activities, including those processes through which we reach decisions.

Submissions

Submissions closed 30 August 2013. In addition to the written submissions we also received verbal submissions from two individuals (Ms Madeleine Kingston and Mr John Sligar) and an informal submission from Lumo Energy advising it considered the Framework to be reasonable.

Additionally, we will take into account the Council of Small Business Australia's (COSBOA) submission on the AER's draft Consumer Engagement Guideline for Network Service Providers, which refers to the draft Stakeholder Engagement Framework.
