On 31 January 2019, Ergon Energy submitted its regulatory proposal for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025.

Tariff Structure Statement proposals submitted to us in January 2019 did not include important detail. The latest update, provided on June 14, 2019, consolidates the additional information provided on May 2 and May 17 with that provided in the initial TSS proposal of 31 January, 2019.

In the final update before the draft decision, Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy) provided rates for Connection Asset Customers on 28 June 2019. These updates to the TSS proposal documents reflect ongoing engagement between Energy Queensland and its stakeholders to address their concerns and refine the proposed strategy. However, it is important to note that the updated TSS proposal documents do not reflect feedback provided in stakeholder submissions published in this section, which were due on 31 May 2019. We expect Energy Queensland to address this stakeholder feedback in the revised proposal, to be submitted subsequent to our Draft Decision.

On 28 March 2019, the AER published an issues paper on the 2020-25 regulatory proposals from Energex and Ergon Energy.

We invited written submissions on Ergon Energy's proposal and our issues paper. Submissions closed on 31 May 2019.

On 9 April 2019, the AER hosted a public forum on the 2020-25 proposal from Energex and Ergon Energy.

We have received some correspondence relating to Ergon Energy's TSS which is separate to our submissions on the regulatory proposals and proposed Negotiated Distribution Service Criteria.

The Consumer Challenge Panel, subpanel 14, has provided advice to the AER in response to the draft plan which Energy Queensland has published in the lead-up to the submission of its regulatory proposals for Energex and Ergon Energy.

We will be conducting stakeholder roundtables in Cairns and Townsville on 20 and 21 May respectively.
