The AER is required to determine the revenue allowance for TransGrid for the regulatory control period commencing 1 July 2018 and finishing on 30 June 2023.
On 31 January 2017, TransGrid submitted its transmission revenue proposal and supporting information to the AER. The proposal sets out the revenue TransGrid proposes to collect from electricity consumers through transmission charges from 2018 to 2023.
On 28 September 2017, we released our draft decision on TransGrid's transmission determination for the 2018–23 regulatory control period.
On 1 December 2017, TransGrid submitted its revised revenue proposal for the 2018–23 regulatory control period.
We invited energy consumers and other interested parties to make submissions on our draft decision and TransGrid's revised proposal. Submissions closed on 12 January 2018.
We held a pre-determination conference on 10 October 2017 in Sydney to discuss our draft decision with stakeholders. The slide presentations from the AER, TransGrid and the Consumer Challenge Panel are available under the draft decision milestone.
