On 21 November 2025, the AER accepted an application from the trustee for RAM Australia Retail Property No.1 Trust's to cancel this individual exemption, as it intends to cease selling energy to customers at Ballina Central.
The AER, in accordance with clause 20 of schedule 2 of the National Gas Law (as applied by section 8 of the National Energy Retail Law), has a general power to repeal any decisions it is entitled to make.
Following the process set out in section 10.1 of the AER Retail Exempt Selling Guideline, we are now seeking submissions from interested stakeholders on the trustee for RAM Australia Retail Property No.1 Trust’s application to cancel the exemption by COB Friday, 19 December 2025.
