Preliminary position paper

On 7 August 2025, we published our Preliminary position paper for Ausgrid’s Hunter-Central Coast REZ non-contestable revenue determination for the 2026–31 regulatory period. On 21 August 2025, we published a Supplementary appendix to the Preliminary position paper. A call for submissions to our Preliminary position paper and information about our upcoming public forum are provided below.

Stakeholder forum

On 25 August 2025, we hosted an online public forum to allow stakeholders the opportunity to ask questions on Ausgrid’s revenue proposal and our Preliminary position paper before submissions close on 10 September 2025. Presentations were delivered by the AER, the AER's Consumer Challenge Panel 35, Ausgrid, and the Ausgrid Customer Panel. The presentation slides are available below.

Interested stakeholders are invited to email submissions by 10 September 2025 with the subject line 'Submission on the HCC Project'. This is an extension from the original submissions close date (4 September) to allow stakeholders to consider the additional material on adjustment mechanisms in the Supplementary Appendix.
