Annual Information Orders 2024-25 to 2027-28

We aim to issue the updated 2026-28 Orders by end June 2026, to apply for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 reporting years. 

2025-26 Data submission workbooks

The AER has updated the 2025-26 data submission workbooks after consultation with relevant NSPs. Workbooks for TNSPs were made available on 13 March 2026, and workbooks for DNSPs, PWC and Interconnectors will be made available in May 2026.

We have also published supporting information for the 2025-26 information collection.

Background

The AER collects information from regulated businesses in order to undertake its functions. The AER publishes non-confidential information received from regulated businesses to support effective and transparent regulatory processes and ensure stakeholders can access information on issues affecting their interests. The 2024-25 to 2027-28 Orders were the key output from the AER's Networks Information Requirements Review. The Review, beginning in March 2022, focussed on the information we collect from and about regulated electricity networks.
