On 30 June 2026 the AER made Annual Information Orders for 2026-27 and 2027-28 (2026-28 Orders) and released an accompanying Decision document. The 2026-28 Orders replace the 2024-28 Orders made on 5 April 2024.
The 2026-28 Orders incrementally improve the AER’s information requirements. By incorporating stakeholder feedback on the draft 2026-28 Orders we were able to further strengthen the Orders by providing additional guidance as well as improved consistency across the requirements. The 2026-28 Orders help to reduce regulatory burden through clearer reporting obligations.
