Consultation - preliminary feedback from stakeholders
Stakeholder forum - Workshop
On 23 February 2017 the AER held a half-day workshop to further develop the AER’s approach to engagement across all areas of our work in wholesale and retail markets and network regulation. The workshop was held via video conference in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
The workshop is a key input into the review of our Stakeholder Engagement Framework that guides our public engagement with consumers, energy businesses and other stakeholders affected by our activities. The purpose of the Framework is to ensure that stakeholder needs and interests are consistently, transparently and meaningfully considered in our activities, including those processes through which we reach decisions.
The workshop also provided an opportunity to explore some of the opportunities identified in our 2016 AER Stakeholder Survey and in our preliminary consultation with interested stakeholders.
The agenda, pre-reading material, question guide for participants, workshop presentations and summary of the workshop discussions are available below.
